Don Jackson

Founder and Chairman

Biography

Don is the founder and chairman of Parkview. Don started Parkview 30 years ago after finishing a long successful career as an operator in the trucking and waste management industries holding senior positions at Trimac Limited Tricil Limited and as CEO at Laidlaw Inc.

Under Don’s leadership, Parkview has had tremendous success over the last 30 years through acquiring and growing private companies and through hands on activist investing.

Don holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta and an MBA from The University of Western Ontario Ivey School of Business. He has taken advanced management courses at Harvard and IMEDE.

Robert Bramer

Managing Director, Chief Investment Officer

Biography

Rob is the Chief Investment Officer at Parkview and is responsible for the investing activities across all asset classes.

Within the Private Equity portfolio, Rob is responsible for lead generation and portfolio company monitoring. He provides operational and financial oversight and works directly with operating management on operating improvement, financial reporting, budgeting, strategic planning and the acquisition strategies.

Within the real estate asset class, Rob oversees the industrial property portfolio and works closely with our partners on other real estate strategies. Rob also works closely with our advisors on our public market portfolios helping to set overall allocations and create specific investment strategies.
Rob has over 20 years of financial expertise with a focus on private company valuation, financial and operational due diligence, operating performance assessment and transaction planning and structuring.

Before joining Parkview, he worked with a mid-market private equity firm where he was directly involved with the completion of several transactions and had significant involvement with the monitoring and financial management of the portfolio companies.

Prior to working in the private equity industry, Robert worked in the Transaction Advisory Services practice of Ernst & Young LLP where he provided business and asset valuations across a spectrum of industries for acquisitions, divestitures, financing, reorganizations, dispute resolution and financial reporting. He also worked in Ernst & Young LLP’s Tax and Assurance practices.

Robert holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant, a Chartered Business Valuator, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Andrea Jackson

President

Biography

Andrea is a Managing Director and the Chief Operating Officer at Parkview Capital and is responsible for all aspects of management of the family office operations. This includes all aspects of strategy, policies, procedures and governance of the family office.

Andrea is a board member and shareholder of the Parkview Family Office. As part of this role, she sits on the Parkview Family Office's investment committee and provides guidance and insight on all investment related activities. Andrea is also a member of the board of AIS Technologies Group and is also the president of the Jackson Family Foundation.
Andrea has over 20 years of experience working in a family office. Previously she has held roles in corporate strategy consulting as well as spending 5 years working on strategy and account management for a retail marketing and branding company. Andrea has also spent part of her early career in education.

Andrea holds an MBA from Schulich School of Business and a Masters of Education from Canisius College. Andrea completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Western Ontario.

Ashley Csepreghi

Director of Administration

Biography

Over the past two decades, Ashley has provided support to Mr. Jackson across different companies and now manages the operations of the family office, handling finance, accounting, treasury functions, and other related activities.

Ashley started in Early Childhood Education and then transitioned into administrative roles in the legal and aerospace industries.
